What Does Fostering Involve?
Fostering is flexible and tailored to your lifestyle. Foster periods can range from a few weeks to a few months.
- Providing food, water, and a safe space
- Offering love, patience, and socialization
- Transporting the cat to vet visits or adoption events (when needed)
- Giving us updates on how your foster is doing
What We Provide
We provide the essentials to get you set up, though we greatly appreciate fosters who are able to provide their own supplies:
Who Can Foster?
You don’t need prior experience—just a caring heart. Apartments, families, singles, and first-time fosters are all welcome.
You can foster if you:
- Are able to keep foster cats separate from personal pets (if required)
- Have time for basic daily care and attention
- Are willing to communicate with our team
Not Ready to Commit Long-Term?
That’s okay! We also need:
- Short-term or emergency fosters
- Kitten fosters
- Quiet homes for shy or senior cats
