Dalaina Daniels began volunteering with Angels With Paws in 2021, driven by a desire to support the incredible work being done for animals in need. She now serves as President of the Board and is continually inspired by the dedication, compassion, and hard work required to operate a successful animal rescue.

A lifelong animal lover, Dalaina’s passion began at a young age. Growing up, her mother founded the Westminster Humane Society out of their family home in the 1970s. Dalaina spent her childhood helping care for cats and dogs that were often left in their backyard, an experience that shaped her deep commitment to animal welfare.

Volunteering at Angels With Paws allows Dalaina to combine her love for animals with meaningful service. She values the strong sense of community among the staff, volunteers, and fellow board members, truly believing that it takes a village to keep a rescue thriving. Dalaina is especially excited about the organization’s move into a new, larger facility—an important step that will allow Angels With Paws to help even more cats find loving homes.

Elisha Victor serves as Vice President of Angels With Paws, supporting the organization’s leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day governance. With a strong commitment to animal welfare, Elisha is dedicated to helping ensure the shelter continues to grow, adapt, and serve cats in need with compassion and care.

As Vice President, Elisha works collaboratively with fellow board members, staff, and volunteers to strengthen operations and support the shelter’s long-term goals. Elisha values the sense of community that makes Angels With Paws successful and is passionate about contributing to an organization where teamwork and heart come together to make a real difference.

Elisha is proud to be part of a board that believes every cat deserves safety, dignity, and a loving forever home.

Keri Lee serves as Treasurer and Secretary for Angels With Paws, where she supports the organization through financial oversight, recordkeeping, and organizational governance. She brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to the board, helping ensure the shelter operates responsibly and sustainably.

Keri is passionate about supporting causes that make a tangible difference in the community and is proud to contribute her skills to an organization dedicated to the care, protection, and rehoming of cats. Her commitment helps Angels With Paws continue its mission with transparency, accountability, and long-term stability.

Cats have always held a special place in Brenda Stidham Cohen’s heart, making her involvement with Angels With Paws a natural fit. She began supporting the organization in 2024 and officially started volunteering in March 2025 as a morning kitty feeder. What started as a simple weekly shift quickly became a meaningful and rewarding part of her life.

Brenda loves getting to know each cat’s unique personality and finds immense joy in watching them receive care, build trust, and ultimately find their forever homes.

Professionally, Brenda is a strategic communication leader with experience in executive and organizational communications, change management, and employee engagement across global industries. She currently serves as Co-Vice President of Membership for the Colorado chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She also volunteers with the Japan America Society of Colorado and is re-learning Japanese, a language she studied for five years.

Brenda holds degrees in psychology and sports broadcasting from Indiana University and began her career as a broadcast journalist. Through Angels With Paws, she has deepened her lifelong love for cats and is excited to support the organization’s mission through storytelling, outreach, and creative strategy.
